Deborah & Jenks are back from the Gobi
This was a life changing experience for D & J as they attempted to cover 140 miles in 7 days in the extreme and unforgiving desert
Their training had gone well but could not fully prepare them for the constant day after day of abuse and of course the ' foot problems'
Jenks was pulled by medics on 3rd day where they syringed iodine under the the skin to prevent infection but hobbled back to finish the last day on the dunes!
Deborah was pulled halfway through day 4 with feet in tatters and infected-she was presented with the organisers ' Courage Cup' at the finish
A huge effort by D & J and a credit to everything that O2e stands for-on plane home they were already planning their training for Gobi 2010!!!!
