Swimmers , runners, cyclists and rowers all descended on Lake Windermere in 2007. A
full onslaught in the worst weather the region had seen for years. Horizontal rain and wind wiped the surface to a cappucino that had to be seen to be believed. Despite this the lake was conquered and over £12ooo was raised in the process.
10 miles of swimming , 75 miles of cycling, 30 miles of rowing and 35 miles of running. All well supported by over 30 helpers, friends and family. A huge weekend and a memory for life.
Jessica Padgett(12) and Sophie Haswell (12) swam and we are all very proud of them both
