Now this must rank as one of THE challenges.

In three days nearly 900 miles were covered form Lands End to John O'Groats. Four started two finished with Slat being pulled out due to medical advice at 250 miles, Barnie was taken off the road at 700 miles on medical grounds, Two awesome cyclists with nothing but great things to offer to all.

John (65) and Seamus completed this trip in under 3 days and have our full and complete respect.

2010 ball. A message from Paul Slattery

" I got a feeling that tonight gonna be a good night........."

What can be said about Saturday night!!
A huge thank you for all your support and hope that you all enjoyed the evening.
As you know the gala Dinner is pretty much done on a non profit basis but with your incredible generosity we made close to £25 k on raffle and the auction which is "extraordinary"

I know that you would all like to thank Jamie for coming down from Scotland with Anna and giving us an amazingly powerful speech. It was the hight light of the evening and makes us all realise what is possible with sheer determination and a positive mindset.

"Life and Limb" is Jamie's book and I would urge you to get it as a stocking filler this year.

Jamie has agreed to become a patron of O2e. This is a hugely generous thing for him to do in a very busy life.It will help both in terms of profile endorsement and hands on (Jamies joke, not mine)at different levels going forward.

We are in the process of rounding this years funding up. So if you have any outstanding sponsor money for this year please do get the funds in to us. We can then confirm numbers and get the cheques written and sent.

Many thanks as always.

Winchester to Eastbourne 100 miler

Superb effort form Jonesy in this gruelling event. A very lonmg day in the saddle woking his way up and down the Southdowns way. He has described this as the hardest thing he has done. Bearing in mind this is the same man whom did the 1/2 marathon at outr first gala dinner .... now look , he is doing 12 hour endurance races..... extraordinary!
